Retirement income · Legacy · Protection

A retirement that still feels like yours.

The goal is simple: help your income last, protect the people you love and prepare for the cost of care—without turning the conversation into a sales pitch.

What matters most

Three questions worth answering now.

Retirement planning can feel complicated. It gets clearer when you separate the conversation into income, legacy and care.

01

Will my retirement income last?

Fixed annuities can be one way to create dependable retirement income and reduce some of the uncertainty around market swings. The right fit depends on your timeline, goals and need for access to your money.

02

What will I leave behind?

Life insurance can help replace income, cover final expenses or create a legacy for the people and causes that matter to you. We look at the purpose first, then the coverage.

03

What if I need care?

Some life insurance policies offer long-term care or chronic illness benefits that may help while you’re living. Availability and benefits vary, so the details deserve a careful conversation.

You’ve won the game. Now protect the trophy.

01 · Long-term-care reality check

The $300,000 question

A three-year Georgia nursing-home stay can cost roughly $300,000 at about $100,000 per year. Move the slider to see what that planning estimate could do to your savings.

A three-year stay could use $300,000 and leave about $0 of these savings.

This is a simple planning illustration, not a quote. Care setting, services, location and future costs can change the actual amount.

02 · Required minimum distributions

The IRS doesn’t care that you retired

Once RMDs apply, money generally has to come out of a traditional IRA each year, whether you need the income or not.

At age 73, dividing $300,000 by the IRS divisor of 26.5 gives an estimated annual RMD of $11,321.
That’s about $943 per month and is generally included in taxable income.

Uses IRS Uniform Lifetime Table divisors for ages 73–82. Your first RMD age can depend on your birth year, and other IRS rules may apply. This estimate is educational, not tax advice.
